The rise in popularity of the Enduro format of MTB Racing has combined the pure adrenaline of Downhill Racing on long travel suspension bikes with the endurance needed for XC and Marathon racing. Riders need the ability to climb during stages as well as riders having to ride and cover all the transitions between stage starts. This leads to long days in the saddle and the need for each rider to develop a strong aerobic base along with the explosive power needed to accelerate out of corners and up small inclines during stages.
Having worked with one of Australia’s best Enduro Professional Josh Carlson of Giant Bikes for many years we have developed a unique understanding of the physical demands and limiters to performance in this style of racing.
The 8 week Enduro Frother Plan is designed for athletes looking to step up and challenge themselves both physically and mentally to arrive on race day ready to rip the cranks off the bike and be the very best they can be.
Each week builds upon the previous in terms of intensity and specificity and can be completed using heart rate, power or rate of perceived effort. Along with each week’s specific workouts Josh himself has helped to produce media covering every aspect of Enduro Racing from bike set up, walking the course and picking the right lines. As well as this there is information on strength and conditioning, stretching and nutrition.
If you are looking to take your Enduro Racing and riding to the next level the Josh Carlson Enduro Frother Plan is for you. With 3 different levels determined by time availability there is a plan here for you.

I’ve been involved with cycling since I was 10 years old. My passion for cycling has led me to race both road and mountain bikes in England and Europe, which led me into learning more around the science behind the sport. I love helping others achieve their absolute best – I’ve lectured Sports and Exercise Science, Anatomy and Physiology in England, been an outdoor educator and motivator at The Scots College and have received several qualifications from degrees to certificates.
